“I had a wonderful experience at Bird and Exotic Hospital with Dr. Jena Dicharry. From the start, everything was incredibly organized. They sent forms ahead of time, so when I arrived there was no need to repeat information, which made the visit feel smooth and thoughtful. The receptionist was genuinely kind, and it was clear they have loyal clients who come in regularly for food and care for their birds. The nurse was just as warm, and Dr. Dicharry herself was exceptional. Knowing she has multiple birds of her own gave me immediate confidence that my little one was in the best hands. She took all of my concerns seriously, answered every question I had, and walked me through proper nutrition without rushing, even though they were busy. I especially appreciated that there was absolutely no pressure to purchase anything unnecessary. In fact, when she did recommend nutritional products, she simply shared links to standard online retailers. I requested lab work, which meant a blood draw for my parrotlet, Skai. I was nervous since it can be tricky with such small birds, especially “wigglers,” and bruising and soreness are common. Dr. Dicharry explained the procedure to me in full. She proceeded to handle it so skillfully and quickly that Skai had no soreness at all afterward and was returned to me happily enjoying her treat like nothing had happened. A week later, Dr. Dicharry personally called me to go over the results in detail, which I really valued. Overall, this was a truly positive experience, which provided me with a solid plan to improve my bird’s nutrition and health. I would confidently recommend Bird and Exotic Hospital to all caring feather parents!”
