Hi everyone,

Thank you to the hundreds of friends who showed up for an amazing night at the Tavern on the Bridge.  I can't remember ever feeling so much love and support in one room.  The evening was a true testament to the years of hard work and dedication that the staff has put into Fuzzy's Place.  Your kind words and amazing generosity raised our spirits and reminded us of why we all want to continue the legacy that our dear friend started some thirty years ago.  We are extremely grateful to the members of Room to Groove, the Soul Shakers, the Mike Veal Band, Java Monkey and Francine Reed, the Diane Durrett Band and the Barry Richman Band for supplying an amazing night of music.  A special thanks to Allyson and Corwin (the beautiful smiles at the front door who helped us collect almost $10,000 to help the staff members ease the burden of unemployment).  To our new friends Justin & Landon along with the entire staff at the Tavern, you guys were incredible.  Our customers ran you over and you just kept smiling.

 

In the weeks to come we hope to have good news about our  progress in reopening the bar.  In the meantime, patronize our friends, watch out for each other and be safe.
